BEN ARATO

Ben Arato came to Iowa from the east coast to study law at Drake and quickly discovered a respect and admiration for Iowa and its people. Ten years later he’s still dedicated to fighting for the rights of Iowans.  Focusing on civil litigation and family law, he regularly takes on national insurance companies on behalf of every day Iowans and their families.

Ben graduated from Drake in 2011 with high-honors and immediately began working side by side with a solo practitioner.  Working at this small firm created a deep and lasting respect for client interaction and communication.  There are many advantages to choosing a smaller firm over a big one, “but being able to pick up the phone and know your attorney will be on the other end might be the most important,” Ben says.

With multiple jury trials under his belt, Ben is as comfortable inside the courtroom as he is in the office. He continues to enjoy expanding his legal knowledge base in order to continue to better serve his clients.

When not representing clients, Ben enjoys getting outside and enjoying all that Iowa has to offer.  He is currently a board member for the Great Outdoors Foundation, an Iowa non-profit dedicated to expanding and restoring outdoor spaces in the Central Iowa and greater Des Moines area.
