Our firm has been contacted by concerned citizens of Waterloo residing in the Home Park and Lawnhill neighborhoods who have recently experienced flood damage to their homes due to potentially improper sewage management by City officials. It is our understanding that existing sewer lines were unable to handle recent rainfalls that occurred in June and July of 2020 and that many residents living near Black Hawk Creek experienced sewage backups into their basements.
